SEO adalah ringkasan dari Search Engine Optimization iaitu Pengoptimuman Enjin Pencarian dan merupakan bahagian teknikal pemasaran web. SEO dapat membantu dalam mempromosikan laman web dan dalam masa yang sama memerlukan pengetahuan teknikal sekurang kurangnya pengetahuan asas mengenai HTML.
Secara umumnya SEO boleh ditakrifkan sebagai aktiviti mengoptimumkan laman laman Web atau untuk membuatkannya lebih mesra kepada enjin pencari (search engine), seterusnya mendapat ranking atau kedudukan lebih tinggi dalam hasil carian di enjin pencari.
Sebagai langkah untuk mempelajari teknik SEO yang pelbagai, saya telah mewujudkan laman web Belajar SEO khas untuk mengumpulkan teknik, tips dan juga tutorial mengenai SEO. (masih dalam proses pembinaan)
